DEUTSCHE BRACKE
Of the many races of bloodhounds who existed before in Germany, he has only remained the bloodhound of Westfalia. Its more significant local species was Holzbracke de Sauerland ? tricolor (small bloodhound for the hunting in the forest).
Through the mixture of these species with Steinbracken local bloodhounds for the stony land hunting, arose a unique type that considers under the name Deutsche Bracke from 1900.
It is a dog of slight and elegant hunting with long extremities, that a corporal with a noble head owns hard, relatively slight structure, good ears and a taken although showy heavy good tail in relation to the general appearance of nobleman of the dog; the belly slightly is dissuaded.
