OLD DANISH BIRD DOG

The Gammel Dansk Hønsehund are a dog race which comes from Denmark. It is a hound which is arranged for the hunting on waterwild. The animal is slowly with respect to other races and has to the habit at the hunter in the buurt remain. The animal is suitable as a companionship dog, as long as it gets sufficient space and movement.

An adult reu is approximately 56 centimetres high, an adult bitch approximately 52 centimetres. The weight varies between 18 and the 24 kilogrammes.
