LANDSEER

The Landseer (Continental-European type) is a race of dogs. Many canine clubs simply consider the Landseer like a white and black variant of Newfoundland, but the ICF (world-wide the canine organization recognizes) it like a separated race.

The name of the race comes from British painter Edwin Landseer, who realised many illustrations and pictures (widely reproduced like engravings) in which they appeared these dogs rescuing young of waters.
