The Moscow waterdog was a very well developed dog made for rescuing people. This dog was trained to jump into the water and save drowning people. One of the main reasons that this dog failed is because it was not inclined to saving people. No matter how much training they were given this dog was more inclined to bite the people in the water rather than save them. This dog was very aggressive and did not take well to strangers. They were affectionate with a few known people. This dog was unable to serve its purpose of being a working dog and thus eventually became extinct.
