These dogs are quite small in size. These dogs, when are properly taken care of and given proper exercise, will grow up to be a maximum of approximately, 43 cm and a minimum of about 35 cm in height at their withers, that is only if these dogs are properly fed, and are kept healthy. These measurements however, are only for the male dogs of this breed. The female dogs of this breed are smaller in size compared to that of the males.

The female dogs, if given proper living conditions, proper food, proper required daily exercise, will grow up to be a minimum of 33 cm and a maximum of about roughly 40 cm in height at their withers. These dogs are quite rectangular when it comes to their shape. The bodies of these dogs are quite moderately long in nature. These dogs are medium in size. They are also very clean to look at. These dogs have a very noble head and in their eye they carry a very friendly yet a very alert expression. Their tails are usually varied low and hanging down. It is slightly curved in an upward direction.

These dogs have a slightly arched skull. They do not have the presence of any wrinkle of any kind of furrows on their foreheads. They have a very slightly prominent occiput. These dogs have the presence of a nose that is usually and generally dark in color. This dark colored nose has a pair of very wide nostrils. These nostrils are usually wide open. These dogs have quite a strong muzzle. The length of this strong muzzle of theirs is moderate, that is, their muzzle is fairly long. Their muzzle along with being strong and fairly long is also of medium depth. Their muzzle however, is never pointed in nature. They have a very straight nose bridge or it may sometimes be a little convex in nature. This nose bridge is also rather slender in nature.

Their upper lip slightly over laps their bottom lip. The corners of the mouths of these dogs are never visible. These dogs have a very strong and an equally powerful pair of jaw muscles. They have a complete set of teeth. Their teeth are also very strong and equally powerful. The upper set of the incisors are in such a way that they slightly over lap the lower set of incisors. These strong teeth are set in such a way that they are square to the strong and powerful jaws of these dogs. These dogs have the presence of cheeks; however, these cheeks are not completely developed. The cheeks of these dogs are only moderately developed. They have a pair of very dark eyes. These dark pair of eyes is very clear and is oval when it comes to the shape of the eyes. These eyes carry a very friendly and an equally soft expression in them. These eyes are neither set deep in to the skull ogthe dog nor are they protruding out from the skull of the dog. These eyes are underlined by dark rims. These underlying rims are very well pigmented.
