The dogs of this breed are rather robust dogs. They fall on the leaner side. However, even though they are very lean, they have the presence of very massively heavy bones. They have a very powerful bone structure. They are also very well developed when it comes to their muscles that are they have very strong and also equally powerful muscles. They have a rather long coat. When grown naturally and not trimmed, the coat of a healthy dog that is fully grown into an adult will measure up to 4 inches to 6 inches in length. This rather long coat of theirs is very coarse in nature; it is very thick and also equally dense in nature. The dogs of this breed are double coated dogs. Double coated dogs are those dogs that have two different layers of coat.

The outer layer called the outer coat or the upper coat and the layer below the outer layer called as the inner coat or the under coat. The coats of these dogs are equal in all parts of the body, that is, they have equally dense hair on their head, chest, legs and their tails as well. The under coat of this dog is very well developed in nature. The color of this dense coat is usually white in color, sometimes however, they may come in white and yellow colors, straw color, slightly greyish or other shaded of grey is also possible. These dogs may have the presence of a white coat with grey markings here and there on there on their body; they may also sometimes be gray speckled. The dogs of this breed have a rather long head.

This long head of the dog has the presence of a fore head that is rather broad in nature. The occipital crests as well as the zeugmatic arches of the dogs are very well developed and also very strongly pronounced in nature. The stop is so light that it is very barely visible. They have the presence of a nose that is rather big in size. This big sized nose is black in color. The dogs of this breed have the presence of a pair of ears that is relatively small when compared to the size of the head and also when compared to the size of the body of the dog. These relatively small sized ears are triangular in shape. They are usually left hanging. The dogs are having the presence of a pair of eyes that are oval when it comes to the shape of the eyes.

They are set in a rather horizontal way. They are very dark in color. These eyes are covered by a pair of eye lids that are very lean in nature and are also very tight. The set of teeth that this dog has is very white in color. They are quite large in size and are also closely fitting in nature. They have regularly set incisors and their teeth generally meet to form a very strong and also and equally powerful scissor bite.
