Spanish Water Dog

The Spanish water dog breeds of dogs have a very rustic look. They have a rather medium weight. They are proportionally bodied dogs. They have the presence of a head that is very strong. This strong head of there is carried with a lot of elegance. They have the presence of a skull that is rather flat in nature. The flat skull is slightly marked with the occipital crest. The muzzle is such that it is parallel to the skull. They have the presence of very well defined nostrils. The nose does not have a specific color as such. It is usually colored with respect to the color of the coat of the dog.

The nose may either be the of the same color as the color of the coat of the dog or it may be a one shade darker or the darkest color of the coat. They have the presence of a pair of lips that are well fitting nature. They have the presence of a set of teeth that are well formed in nature and also white in color. This dog had the presence of very well defined canines. The dogs also have the presence of a pair of eyes that are very expressive in nature. They are also set in quite an oblique position. The eyes are either hazel in color or chestnut color.

The eye color should always be such that they are in perfect harmony with the color of the coat of the dog. The dogs of this breed have the presence of a rather short sized neck. This short sized neck however is very strong and is also very ell muscled in nature. Their neck does not have the presence of any dewlap. The short sized and well muscled neck is well set in to the shoulders of the dog. The dogs have a very robust type of body they also have a very straight top line. The dogs have a back that is very straight and also very powerful in nature. This dog has a chest that is very broad in nature. The chest has the presence of ribs that are well let down in nature. These ribs are also slightly arched in nature. This dog also has a belly that is slightly tucked up in nature.

The tail of the dogs of this breed is of medium length in nature. The fore quarters of the dog are very strong and practically vertical in nature. The shoulders are very oblique in nature. This oblique natured shoulder is also very strong and equally powerful and very well muscled in nature. The dogs have very sturdy upper arms. The elbows of the dog are such that they are very close to the chest of the dog and also parallel to the chest. The front arms of the dog are sturdy and very straight in nature. They have rounded front feet. The dogs have very supple natured skin. This supple skin is very fine and also sticking to the body of the dog.
