The dogs of this breed are rather small when it comes to their size. They are also rather low set in nature. They are also rather muscular for their size. This domed and broad head of theirs is such that it is in perfect proportion with the size of the rest of their body. The broad shaped and the domed head of the dogs in it has the presence of a pair of ears that are v shaped in nature. The dogs of this breed are most often seen in a white coat but they can come in all possible types of colors or all possible types of color combinations.

The dogs of this breed have the presence of a pair of eyes, which are either dark brown in color or are amber in color. They have the presence of a black colored nose. The tails of the dogs of this breed are usually docked at their birth, but if not docked and left to grow naturally, the tails are naturally bobbed in nature or are naturally curled in nature. The teddy Roosevelt dog is a breed of dog that is said to have originated from the country of the United States of America. This dog is also said to have descended from a lot of different breeds of dogs, some of them include, the beagle breed of dogs, the smooth fox terrier breed of dogs, the Manchester terrier breed of dogs, the whippet breed of dogs, the Italian grey hound breed of dogs and also the English terrier breed of dogs.

The dogs of this breed were brought to the United States of America by a bunch of English miners and crossing this dog with other dogs created the teddy Roosevelt dog as it exists today. This dog is known by a lot of other names such as the short legged dog, the small dog, the rat hunting dog and also as the rat terriers. From the names it is quite obvious that this dog was used for the purpose of hunting rats. This breed of dogs gets its name, the teddy Roosevelt terrier, after the president Theodore Roosevelt, who was said to have owned many of these dogs while he was at office. Today this dog is mainly used for the purpose of hunting but along with this, the dogs of this breed are also used for the purpose of a companion dog. These dogs are however very rare in nature.

This dog is said to have a very even and a very good temper ant. These dogs of this breed are said to be very energetic in nature. They are also very alert in nature. This dog is a very curios dog, that is, curiosity is in its nature. They have a very high level of intelligence. These dogs can get very protective of them and also tend to get very protective of their family as well, but their protectiveness never turns into aggressiveness.
