Vizsla
The dogs of this breed are said to have originated from Hungary. They were mainly used for the purpose of hunting. In the language of its native land, the word “vizsla”, this means “pointer”. The dogs of this breed are blessed with incredible scenting abilities and also with enormous amount of energy. The dogs of this breed have a lot of talents, some of them are, pointer, retriever, agility, watch dog, hunter for game birds, obedience competing and so on. The dogs of this breed are rather medium sized dogs. They are hunting dogs. They have the presence of a very strong body. The length of this strong body of the dog is slightly larger as compared to the height of the body of the dog.
The dogs of this breed have the presence of a slightly domed skull. This slightly domed skull is rather lean and as well as muscular in nature. This slightly domed, lean and muscular skull is quite wide in between the ears of the dog. The muzzles of the dogs of thus breed are usually either of the same length as the skull, or sometimes maybe a little shorter than the length of the skull. They muzzle is slightly tapering in nature. The muzzle tapers to form the nose. They have the presence of a usually flesh colored nose. This nose of the dog is usually colored in such a way that it is in contrast with the color of the coat of the dog.
The dogs of this breed have the presence of a very strong natured neck. This strong natured neck is in the absence of a dewlap. The set of teeth of the dogs usually tend to meet to form a scissor bite. They dogs have the presence of a pair of medium sized eyes. These medium sized eyes are colored in such a way that they are also like the nose in contrast with the color of the coat of the dog. They have the presence of a pair of long sized ears. These long ears are very thin in nature. They are also very silky in addition to being thin. They are usually kept hanging down low, quite close to the cheeks of the dog.
These long, silky, thin pair of ears has the presence of tips that are quite rounded in nature. The tails of the dogs of this breed is generally very thick at the base. The pair of front feet of the dog is extremely straight in nature. These straight legs end up forming the feet of the dog. The dogs of this breed have the presence feet that are quite cat-like in nature. The dewclaws of the feet of the dog are generally removed. The coat of the dogs of this breed is very short in nature. Along with being short in nature, it is also very smooth on nature. It is very tight, and is very close to the body of the dog. The coat color may be rusty gold or it may be any shade of rusty gold in nature.
