White English Bulldog


This dog has a lot of other names from which it is known, these names include, English whites, old southern whites, southern whites, American bulldogs, hill bulls and so on. They have a lot of other names depending on what location they came from. In general, these dogs are very balanced dogs. They have a very powerful built. They have a lot of strength and the dogs of this breed also are known to display great amount agility as well. These dogs have a very sound and a very solid temperament. This is one of the main things to look at before using these dogs for the purpose of breeding.

The dogs belonging to this breed are very alert all the time; they are never known to let their guard down. They are also very outgoing in nature. They are very calm and collected dogs, that is, they are always under control all the times. They have a rather high level of confidence as well. They may sometimes display a little amount of aggression, but this not a5 all considered as a fault among the dogs of this breed, that is, only if the dogs can brought back under control even when they show aggression. When these dogs are taken care of properly and are given proper grooming and when they have grown into perfectly healthy dogs, the male dogs can grow up to a maximum of 26 inches and a minimum of 23 inches and can weigh in at about roughly a minimum of 70 pounds and a maximum of 95 pounds.

The females of this breed however are a little smaller as compared to the males, they can have a height of about a minimum of 20 inches and a maximum of 25 inches and they can weigh in at about approximately, a minimum of 60 pounds and a maximum of 85 pounds. Whatever the height and the weight of both t5he genders of the dogs is, it should be proportional to each other and it should portray a well balanced dog.

The coat of the dogs of this breed is very short and smooth in nature. A dog with a long coat or dog with a fuzzy coat is not accepted and a lot of featherings around some parts of their body, such as the ears, their legs and also their feet is considered as a fault in these dogs. The color of the coat of these dogs should be white in color and not just any white, the white color of the coat should be predominating in nature. It is also very necessary that more than 90% of the coat of the dog should be white in color, leaving a 10% for the presence of any other color, if any. This 10% of the coat may have the presence of markings that may be of any shade if brindle, any solid color or any shade of red in color. The dogs have a very broad head.
